Accessing the Online Renewal Software

To access the online renewal software, you must have a valid email on file with the Board. If you do not currently have an email address on file with the Board or you need to change your email address, please email the Board at contact.lpgas@llr.sc.gov with your name, license/permit number, last 5 digits of your social security number or FEIN number and your current email address.

  • If you do not have your UserID, please click here to request this information be sent to the email on file with the Board.
  • If you need to reset/recover your password, please click here and a link to reset your password will be emailed to you.

All licenses and permits must be renewed separately by license credential number; however, the online renewal application process features a proxy payment link. This will enable the permitted employee or licensee to email a link to a third party (such as their employer) for payment. For privacy and security purposes, the third party will only have access to information such as name, license type and number and payment amount. The licensee is responsible for following up with the proxy to ensure payment is made timely for their renewal.

Renewing LP Gas Dealer (LPD), Reseller (LPR) and Installer (LPI) Licenses Online

To begin the renewal process for your license online, you are required to provide the Board with an up-to-date Certificate of Liability Insurance verifying proof of $500,000 general liability insurance, including manufacturer's or contractor's liability and product's liability insurance. Please submit your certificate via the Document Submission portal. Please allow board staff 5-7 business days to update this information in our system. After the new insurance expiration date has been applied, you will be able to renew your license online.

In addition, you will need to ensure all of your permitted employee(s) on file are still valid. You can confirm the permitted employee information the Board currently has on file by accessing the "Licensee Lookup" software and searching by your license number. If you need to make changes to this information, please contact the Board at contact.lpgas@llr.sc.gov.

Permitted Employees must complete a separate online renewal application. Your license renewal is not complete without the required employee renewal(s). If you would like to make payment on behalf of the permitted employee(s) associated with your license, the online renewal application process features a proxy payment link.
