Ombudsman
LLR's ombudsman serves as a neutral resource to assist members of the public in navigating the Department whenever they have concerns following their engagement with the Department or its personnel. The ombudsman listens to these concerns, conducts any necessary research into the concerns, explains processes and procedures, facilitates communications with Department personnel when needed, and helps resolve issues or identifies appropriate avenues of assistance. The ombudsman cannot override licensure decisions or alter the outcome of investigations or discipline. Further, the ombudsman does not provide legal advice and does not advocate for any party.
