The South Carolina Real Estate Commission is seeking South Carolina licensed real estate professionals as volunteers to serve as a part of its Investigative Review Committee (IRC).
The duty of an IRC professional member is to attend a monthly meeting to participate in the review of investigative summary reports and to work with LLR’s Office of Investigations and Enforcement, the Real Estate Commission’s Administrator, and Agency legal staff in making recommendations on how to resolve investigative case files.
Applicants should be licensed with the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, experienced, and knowledgeable about South Carolina real estate law and practices. Applicants should be able to attend scheduled IRC meetings with regularity, and able to maintain confidentiality in the discussion and review of privileged investigative work product.
If you would like to serve as a professional member of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission’s Investigative Review Committee, please submit a cover letter, contact information and one-page resume to Administrator Rod Atkinson at Roderick.Atkinson@llr.sc.gov. Submissions will be reviewed by the Commission with the intention to select IRC members and alternates at the Commission’s next scheduled meeting on December 18, 2013.

EFFECTIVE 8/1/13: NEW South Carolina Residential Property Condition Disclosure Statement
NEW South Carolina Residential Property Condition Disclosure Statement (Effective August 1, 2013): At the June 12, 2013 meeting of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, a new South Carolina Residential Property Condition Disclosure Statement and Addendum was approved. The new form will go into effect on August 1, 2013 for any new listings, or any listings renewed after the effective date. A message to all licensees has been issued on behalf of the Commission regarding implementation of the new form which can be read below.
