The mission of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) is to promote the health, safety and economic well-being of the public through regulation, licensing, enforcement, training and education. Our mission goes hand-in-hand with the Governor's effort to raise personal incomes of South Carolinians by creating a better environment for economic growth, delivering government services more openly and efficiently, improving quality of life, and improving our state's education. LLR now has:
The Division of Labor, which includes Elevator and Amusement Rides, Labor Services, Labor-Management Mediation, Migrant Labor, Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA), and OSHA Voluntary Programs (OVP)
The Division of Administration
LLR is located at 110 Centerview Drive in Columbia, S.C. Offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
